Thank you Dr. Ray, My mom passed away at age 109+years old. She was in a nursing home for 8 years and I visited her at least once every two weeks. Then came Covid 19 and the nursing home shut down to visitors on my mom’s 109th birthday, luckily we were about to visit on that day, but that afternoon visiting stopped. It wasn’t until August and September of 2020 that my sister and I were able to visit. We went in August, and I wasn’t sure she knew what we were saying, but she seemed to know that my sister and I loved her. We were able to see her one last time in September, and again because of Covid we couldn’t visit again. She passed away Nov. 10, 2020. I am so grateful that I had that time with her. I miss her every day!
